At Firearm Guardian, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your personal information from our systems.

Your Rights

Under various privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), GDPR, and CCPA, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This includes:

• Account information
• Profile details
• Compliance tracking data
• Activity logs
• Usage data

Complete Data Removal

When you request data deletion, we guarantee complete and permanent removal of ALL your data:

• No user data will be kept for any reason
• All information is permanently deleted and not recoverable
• No exceptions for legal compliance or other purposes
• Complete removal from all systems and backups

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data through any of these methods:

1. Email Request

Send an email to privacy@firearmguardian.com including:

• Your registered email address
• Account username (if different from email)
• Brief reason for deletion (optional)
• Preferred contact method for follow-up

2. Online Form

Complete our secure online form at: https://firearmguardian.com/data-deletion-form

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and ensure security, we will verify your identity through:

1. Email confirmation
2. Account password verification
3. Additional security questions if needed

Processing Timeline

• Initial confirmation: Within 24 hours
• Verification process: 1-3 business days
• Complete deletion: Up to 30 days

You will receive notifications at each stage of the process.

What Gets Deleted

Upon confirmation, we will permanently and completely delete:

• Your account and profile information
• All compliance tracking data
• Activity history and logs
• Usage data and preferences
• All backup copies immediately
• All system records and traces
• Any anonymized or aggregated data derived from your account

Complete Data Removal Guarantee

We guarantee that:

• ALL user data is permanently deleted with no exceptions
• NO information is retained for any purpose whatsoever
• NO data is kept for legal compliance, audit, or security reasons
• NO anonymized or aggregated data derived from your account is retained

After Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

• You will receive a confirmation email
• Your account will be deactivated
• Access to premium features will end
• Stored documents will be permanently removed
• Subscription will be cancelled (if applicable)

Important Notes

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
• Downloaded data should be backed up before requesting deletion
• Active subscriptions should be cancelled through App Store/Google Play
• All data including backups is immediately and permanently deleted
